Saw chams Overlay mentioned and I'm not completely sure what it does.
Is it basically just making the cheat overlay not show up in supported stream/capture situations?

That's how I understand it. It's mainly there so the overlay isn't sitting on the capture in the normal use case.

Yeah, it's more of a stream/capture visibility thing. I wouldn't think of it as some magic “nobody can ever see anything” button lol.

The useful part is keeping the actual overlay out of the capture. That's really what I'd care about.

I like having it because I don't want random UI stuff cluttering the recording.
